La Cave Theater collection, 1967-1991 (bulk 1967-1975).

Collection consists of programs, posters, news clippings, photographs, negatives, sheet music, flyers, correspondence, news releases, scripts, reviews and other materials relating to productions of the University Players of Virginia Union University. La Cave theater productions were produced under the direction of William W. Kramer, director of drama and the only drama professor, student participation was extra curricula, and since Virginia Union University did not have a drama department many of the productions of the University Players of Virginia Union University were held at La Cave Theater. Most of the plays were written by African American authors.
